MOA SIGNING OF BSP-DTI’S EXPANDING THE NEGOSYO CENTER FINANCING ECOSYSTEM
The Chamber of Thrift Banks (CTB) witnessed the MOA signing of BSP-DTI’s Expanding the Negosyo Center Financing Ecosystem. The MOA institutionalizes the partnership of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Microfinance Council of the Philippines, Inc., (MCPI), and Alliance of Philippine Partners for Enterprise Development (APPEND) toward improving access to finance of microentrepreneurs served by Negosyo Centers across the country. This initiative serves as a platform for multi-stakeholder collaboration espoused in the National Strategy for Financial Inclusion (NSFI), and aims to be a model for institutionalized Negosyo Center partnerships with other financial service industry associations like CTB.
