Chamber of Thrift Banks (CTB) Board Induction

The 2024 CTB Board of Trustees were inducted by DOF Assistant Secretary Eufrocinio Bernabe, Jr. during the recently concluded general membership meeting of the Chamber of Thrift Banks held at Shangri-la Makati.  The Assistant Secretary was also a guest speaker during the event and talked on the topic “Paving the Way to Robust Economic Growth.”

Bangko Sentral Chief inducts Chamber of Thrift Banks Board

The 2023 CTB Board of Trustees were recently inducted by Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Governor Felipe Medalla during the recently concluded general membership meeting of the Chamber of Thrift Banks held at Dusit Thani Manila. The Governor was also a guest speaker during the event and discussed the first quarter outlook on the Philippine economy, particularly the banking industry.

The 2022 CTB Board of Trustees were recently inducted by Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Governor Benjamin Diokno during their virtual courtesy call on the BSP Chief. The visit is in line with the 2022 CTB national convention slated in October with the theme: “Thrift Banks 2022: Responding to the Call for Sustainable Development,” where the Governor is the keynote speaker. The theme is in line with BSP’s launching of its sustainable finance roadmap and guiding principles that set out necessary guideposts aimed at unlocking funds for sustainability projects and initiatives.

CHAMBER OF THRIFT BANKS CONVENTION 2021

The Chamber of Thrift Banks (CTB) convened its virtual three-day annual convention, with the theme ‘Thrift Banks: Moving Forward to the Next Normal’ as it pursues its commitment that its members’ organizational strategies are updated in the face of continually evolving technologies and accelerated customer demand for digital solutions.

Thrift Banking in the New Decade

The Chamber of Thrift Banks (CTB) held its recently concluded 3-day virtual convention, with Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas Governor Benjamin Diokno as keynote speaker. With the theme “Thrift Banking in the New Decade,” the conference tackled not only the challenges of the new normal but also growth opportunities for member-banks in the new decade.

Senate Committee on Banks Chair Senator Grace Poe was the guest speaker in the recently concluded general membership meeting (GMM) of the Chamber of Thrift Banks (CTB) held at Dusit Thani Manila, where she talked about her Committee’s legislative agenda and other key legislation affecting the banking sector.
